Job description
DecisionPoint Corporation is seeking a (Motor Transport Operator) Technical Instructor to join our Army Maintenance Assistance and Instruction Team (MAIT). In order to be considered a SME, an individual must be proficient (5 years’ experience) in the Motor Transport Operator and also be knowledgeable with (3-year experience) of TC-AIMS II, Army Readiness Common Operating Picture (AR-COP), and Military Methods of Instruction. You will provide a planned and coordinated program, course, curriculum, subject or routine instruction in professional, technical, administrative, or other fields designed to improve individual and organization performance and assist in achieving the agency’s mission in Army training for unit readiness. Courses may be instructor based, computer-based, simulator based, interactive, or non-interactive. The instructor uses a computer to organize and draft a curriculum that breaks a complex subject into blocks or units of instruction, creates graphics, and integrates them into Motor Transport operation focused curriculum. Development of classroom techniques that reflect professionalism and good unit Motor Transport management practices, procedures, Command Deployment Discipline Program (CDDP) , while using the TC-AIMS II system to validate accurate unit combat deployment readiness. Prepare and deliver briefings, point papers, reports, fact sheets, and respond to their assigned command. Maintain verification systems to identify deficiencies and shortcomings by examining unit’s activities and processes to ensure compliance with applicable Army Regulations, Field Manuals, Technical Publications, and 25 TH Infantry Division, USARHAW and USARPAC policies. All personnel performing under this contract shall meet the minimum requirements outlined below.
- Responsible for the revision and maintenance of the Command Deployment Discipline Program (CDDP) technical inspection that involves the technical research within regulations, policies, procedures and various websites (such as ARIMS, TC-AIMS, and other related sites).
- Provide resident staff logistics expertise in the following Deployment Discipline activities for CDDP Schools (UMODPC, ALPC, HAZMAT, AMMO 43), Deployment Excellence Award (DEA).
- Teaching tailored technical courses in accordance with approved curriculum to maintain proficiency and to evaluate and develop new instructional techniques/courses.
- Incorporation of new curriculum in the teaching process (e.g., incorporate relevant training according to Army TC-AIMS II operating system.
- Development and maintenance of classroom techniques that reflect professionalism and good discipline.
- Development of alternative teaching techniques and scenarios to maintain high motivation and interest in the subject areas of Port Operations, MDF Cargo Processing, and Air and Rail Load Operations.
- While acting as the testing officer, conduct an analysis of test and provide revisions, as necessary.
- Financial Liability Investigation of Property Loss preparation.
- Procedures, inventories, Logistics Data Analysis Center (LDAC) assist with logistics readiness reporting.
- Provides training and SME guidance to customers on Joint Container Management (JCM) Manager, OEL Updates-, NTV Fleet Manager, and Continuity for DTO.
- Provide a comprehensive assessment of training and shall define training requirements to include:
- An analysis of the Systems, Applications and Products skills
- Identification of Terminal Learning Objectives (TLO)
- Development of outcome metrics
- Development of test materials and hands-on evaluation for logistics training
- Informs Program Manager or Assistant Program Manager on logistical matters and results of field assessments
Basic Qualifications:
- Active Secret Security Clearance
- High School Diploma or GED
- 5 years’ experience in Motor Transport Operations.
- 3-years’ experience of TC-AIMS System Operations
Minimum Qualifications:
- 10 years’ total experience in Motor Transport Operator strongly preferred.
- Must be proficient in Microsoft Office.
- Previous experience as a trainer or instructor is strongly preferred.
- Possess the ability to effectively communicate with others.
- Knowledge of Army structure, commands, units, and logistics components.
- Ability to travel required to provide unit training and assistance, attend conferences and training.
- Valid driver license and transportation.
- Ability to stand for prolonged periods in either an outdoor or office environment.
- Must have validate passport or be able to possess for travel, 20% travel required.
