Job description
The Manager, Commercial G&A Procurement is responsible for driving value across Commercial and G&A functions and categories, such as Marketing, Commercial Strategy, Patient Services, Data Management and Diagnostics, HR, IT, Meeting/Events/Travel, and Administrative. This role will actively contribute to the development and execution of procurement and sourcing strategies through category management, supplier negotiations, supplier management, and optimization in collaboration with internal business partners and external suppliers. This role will support various categories and functions within the SG&A space in collaboration with the Associate Director, Commercial SG&A Procurement and in support of the Procurement department goals.
This position will be expected to embrace Sarepta's culture by working with a sense of urgency, pursuing deeper collaboration between Strategic Sourcing and the Commercial G&A functions, easily manage multiple workstreams, be able to execute and handle challenging situations diplomatically.
Primary Responsibilities Include: - Contribute to the development of sourcing strategies to identify savings opportunities, service enhancements, process improvements, and best practices within various categories within SG&A
- Independently lead projects within assigned categories, managing multiple projects and priorities across business stakeholders and departments
- Manage the end-to-end RFP process, including RFP development, RFP process management, oversight and support of the proposal evaluation process, and development and presentation of vendor selection recommendations (all in collaboration with business stakeholders)
- Negotiate contracts and key business terms with suppliers and in conjunction with the business, legal, finance, and other departments as needed
- Support contract management needs and supplier performance management in partnership with the business stakeholders
Desired Education and Skills: - Bachelor's Degree in related field
- 3-5 years' experience in Procurement, Sourcing, Finance, or similar discipline with proven capability to develop trusted stakeholder relationships and proactively seek opportunities across various categories/departments
- At least 2 years' experience in Procurement, Strategic Sourcing, or similar function which involved negotiating with and managing external suppliers
- Excellent communication skills with proven ability to effectively communicate to senior level leadership both written and verbal
- Strong analytical skills to support spend and proposal analysis, proficient in MS Office Suite, particularly Excel and PowerPoint
- Team-oriented and strong interpersonal skills with proven ability to collaborate cross-functionally
- Proven ability to strategically and independently negotiate contractual terms, conditions and pricing
- Large-scale project management and strong ability to handle multiple priorities/project concurrently
- Ability to travel 10-20% of time (stakeholder meetings, team events, conferences, etc.)
Preferred: - Category experience related to marketing, professional services, consulting, HR/temp labor, and/or IT will be beneficial
- Global biotech/pharma experience preferred but not required

This position is remote. However, you will be expected to work on site at one of Sarepta's facilities in the United States and/or attend Company-sponsored in-person events from time to time.
The targeted salary range for this position is $112,000 - $140,000 per year. Sarepta is making a good faith effort to be transparent and accurate around our hiring ranges. The salary offer is commensurate with Sarepta's compensation philosophy and considers factors including, but not limited to, education, training, experience, external market conditions, criticality of role, and internal equity.
Candidates must be authorized to work in the U.S.
