This opportunity is fully remote and open to applicants residing anywhere within the contiguous United States. Regardless of your location, you'll be part of a team that operates on an Eastern time zone schedule, ensuring flexibility and collaboration for all team members.

Position Overview: Senior Communications Consultant

Join us as a Senior Communications Consultant within our esteemed Strategic Communications and Integrated Marketing practice. In this role, you'll be instrumental in providing strategic guidance and support to government programs, crafting compelling communication plans, and leveraging innovative approaches to effectively engage target audiences. Our clients primarily consist of various Federal Government agencies and departments.

Key Responsibilities:
Drive nationwide internal and external communications campaigns.
Offer strategic counsel to government programs on the latest communication strategies.
Develop and execute original ideas for audience engagement and messaging.
Create a variety of materials to support campaigns, including communication plans, fact sheets, website content, and more.
Coordinate the development of print/web materials while ensuring adherence to branding strategies.
Conduct research and data analysis, including environmental scanning and focus groups.
Lead client meetings and maintain project documentation.

Required Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree required; Master's degree in communications, marketing, or related field preferred.
5-8 years of professional experience.
Background in public health, healthcare, benefits, or health communications.
Proficiency in core communications/marketing best practices.
Strong writing, editing, and presentation skills.
Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team setting.
Legal right to work in the US without sponsorship.
Ability to obtain a US government security clearance.
Preference given to qualified Veteran candidates.

Preferred Qualifications:
Experience with consulting firms, PR/marketing agencies, or government contractors.
Familiarity with planning and implementing communications/marketing activities.
Knowledge of Human Centered Design principles.

Physical Requirements:
Prolonged periods of sitting and computer work.

Salary: Commensurate with experience.
