Summer Intern Program- June 1st- Sept 1st

UltraSource's team works to identify and find solutions to our customers' requirements. Knowledgeable, trustworthy, and a sound understanding of technical details are at the forefront of our sales and application strategy for UltraSource's customer s.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Works with Engineering creating drawings and assemblies using SolidWorks.
• Helps build and maintain 3D models and drawings using Solidworks POM and maintains BOMS using Dynamics ERP software
• Use the vault ( universal sharing system) to access and transfer filed
• Basic engineering tasks related to design, analysis, test, integration and systems engineering.
• Perform analysis on existing hardware and software, assist in the design and development of future hardware and software; quality assurance, system safety and systems engineering.
• Provide data analysis, methodology improvement projects, maintain production work instructions.
• Assist engineers in performance of assignments, shadow actual operations.
• Additional activities and group projects as determined by the intern program.

Education And Experience:

• Currently enrolled in a college program focusing on mechanical, electrical engineering or drafting, or one year related experience.
• Proficiency or training on 3-D Mechanical Design software (Solidworks preferred)
• Intermediate experience in Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel, Outlook.
• DraftSight - intermediate knowledge (SolidWorks version of AutoCAD).
• Must have a passion for design work, process improvement, and creative thinking.
• Good interpersonal skills and the ability to work with engineering, production and service personnel.
