Job description

A prestigious nationwide healthcare organization providing service to a chain of nursing homes in New York is looking to immediately hire an Orthopedic Nurse Practitioner (NP) or Physician Assistant (PA) with an active NY license to work collaboratively with their teams of Orthopedics and healthcare professionals various nursing homes across the State of NY (Travel expenses will be reimbursed), providing comprehensive Orthopedic care to patients. Your expertise in diagnosing, treating, and managing Orthopedic conditions will be pivotal in delivering high-quality patient-centered care. These centers offer a compensation package based on a combination of a base salary and the Relative Value Unit (RVU) system, with an average total compensation ranging from $160,000 to $200,000 per year, in addition to hefty paid time off (PTO), medical, dental, and vision benefits, CME allowance, and more.

Responsibilities:

• Conduct comprehensive orthopedic assessments, including medical history and physical exams,
• Order and interpret diagnostic tests for orthopedic conditions,
• Develop and implement personalized treatment plans,
• Assist with orthopedic procedures and interventions, and
• Provide patient education on orthopedic conditions and post-treatment care.

Qualifications:

• Active NY state license,
• At least 3 years of experience in orthopedics field, and
• Excellent communication and organizational skills.

Job type:

• Part Time.

Pay level:

• $160,000.00 - $200,000.00 per year
