SUMMARY:
The Licensing and Contract Administrator is responsible for overseeing licensing, appointments, continuing education, contracts, and acquisitions for HUB International Gulf South.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Licensing/Appointments/Continuing Education
Co-ordinate and schedule pre-licensing classes and insurance exams for eligible employees.
Process new license applications for all employees.
Process license renewals for all employees
Currently renewing approximately 2000 licenses (resident & non-resident) annually
This process also involves downloading the licenses once renewed
Complete and reconcile a monthly spreadsheet for all license renewals & pre-licensing courses and submit to the HFC.
Maintain all licenses for GUS employees & update through HUB Corporate.
Provide updated licenses to carriers upon request.
Monitor continuing education for all licensed employees.
Send out a monthly reminder for upcoming license renewals.
Process all new appointment paperwork and fees for GUS producers
Process all renewal appointment paperwork and fees for all GUS producers
Complete Surplus Lines forms for GUS as needed.
Process new and termed employees (i.e., licenses, birthdays, anniversaries).
Contracts
Review and process all new and amended agency contracts for all GUS locations
Prepare and complete all contracts for review & signature
Complete Business Associate Agreements and Non-Disclosures for GUS
Responsible for re-contracting all GUS acquired agencies & agents
Work in conjunction with the Marketing Dept. to determine when/if a new contract is needed
Acquisitions
Assist in the integration of newly acquired agencies including:
New collateral (business cards, envelopes, etc.)
Licenses
Carrier notifications
Commission transfers
Appointment paperwork
Department Account Management & Service
Required Experience: 1-2 years of relevant experience
Required Travel: No Travel Required
Required Education: High school or equivalent
