Job description
We are seeking a long term committed Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner to become a part of our team! You will focus on providing high quality psychiatric medication patient care as part of a team. One who is able to work in office as well as via tele-health. To reduce onboarding time, we prefer someone already credentialed with insurances but will consider the best candidate for the job even if not credentialed. \
Responsibilities:\
Diagnose and treat acute, episodic or chronic mental illnesses.\
Prescribe all necessary medications and treatments.\
Perform comprehensive examinations of patients.\
Develop and implement patient management policies and procedures.\
Communicate with collaborating clinicians regarding patient care.\
Analyzes and interprets patients' histories, symptoms, physical findings, or diagnostic information to develop appropriate diagnoses.\
Recommends diagnostic or therapeutic interventions.\
Provides Psycho-education\
Orders, performs, or interprets the results of diagnostic tests.\
Maintains complete and detailed records of patients' health care plans and prognoses.\
Detects and responds to adverse drug reactions.\
Schedules follow-up visits to monitor patients or evaluate health or illness care.\
Supervises or coordinates patient care or support staff activities.\
Maintains current knowledge of state legal regulations for nurse practitioner practice.\
Keeps abreast of regulatory processes and payer systems.\

Qualifications:\
Ability to build rapport with patients\

Excellent written and verbal communication skills\
Strong leadership qualities\
Child and Adult Psychiatry \
Education: Master's degree\
Experience: 3-5 years of related experience -or equivalent combination of education and experience\
Licenses/Certifications: Appropriate certifications and/or licensures
