The Housing Program Coordinator plans for, coordinates resources for, and develops initiatives to improve the quantity and quality of the housing supply in the City. This position prepares and administers grants related to housing, historic preservation, homelessness prevention and similar functions. This position also facilitates strengthening neighborhoods and public engagement. The Housing Program Coordinator provides primary staff support for the Housing Commission and the Land Bank Board of Trustees.

A Day in the Life

What You Will Need to be Successful:

Education: A Bachelor's degree in urban or regional planning, community development, business or public administration or a related field is required; a Master's degree is preferred.

Experience: A minimum of one year of increasingly responsible similar or related experience is required. Preference will be given to candidates holding an advanced degree and with experience in the planning, housing or community development field.
