Join our dynamic and innovative team as a Senior Java Developer! In this role, you will play a pivotal part in maintaining, designing, and developing cutting-edge solutions using Java, Spring, Hibernate, and other open-source technologies.
Key Responsibilities: Plan, Design, and Code: Spearhead the planning, designing, debugging, and coding of software solutions for Java application development. Best Practices: Develop Java-based software adhering to industry best practices. Efficient and Reusable Code: Craft efficient and reusable code in Java to ensure scalable and maintainable solutions. Quality Assurance: Test software thoroughly to ensure it meets requirements and performs optimally. Technical Support: Provide technical support to testers and our IVV team, troubleshooting new and existing software issues. Collaboration: Work closely with team members to maintain code quality, proper GIT management, and well-documented deployment processes. Cross-Functional Collaboration: Collaborate with product managers and designers to ensure software is well-designed and meets user needs. Continuous Improvement: Identify and implement opportunities to enhance existing Java code. Qualifications: Experience: A minimum of 10 years of hands-on experience in Java development. Technical Expertise: In-depth knowledge of website design, Java, Java EE, Spring, ORMs (Hibernate), webservices, GIT, Jenkins, and AWS (a plus). Analytical Skills: Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and troubleshooting skills. Database Knowledge: Understanding of relational databases, with Oracle experience preferred. Agile Experience: Familiarity with Agile methodologies and application servers (Tomcat, WebLogic). Education: Bachelor's degree in computer science or a related field is preferred. Team Player: Ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a team.
