Job DescriptionThe Brown & Brown, Inc.'s (B&B) Technology Solutions' paid internship program is a project-based experience designed to provide talented undergraduate students an opportunity to contribute meaningful work to our world-class team. The intern role based out of Daytona Beach, FL, will be exposed to a range of learning opportunities, including working with new technologies, developing and troubleshooting system modifications, fostering innovation, and providing application support. Interns will be responsible for completing individualized projects that could include data gathering, analysis, collaborating with teammates from multiple disciplines and departments, and offering recommendations. Project completion will culminate in the opportunity to present findings and results to a panel of senior leaders.
In addition to the role's day-to-day responsibilities, the internship program has been carefully curated for interns to experience our collaborative, teammate-centric culture of Meritocracy that truly makes Brown & Brown a certified Great Places to Work®. The internship experience will include mentorship, teammate partnership, a speaker series, networking opportunities with leadership, and a community engagement project.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
1. Complete assigned individual projects and associated deliverables and present final recommendations. Project specifics and deliverables will vary, and work could include data gathering/clean-up, collaborating with internal stakeholders, data and process analysis, risk management, development, and stakeholder analysis.
2. Support the completion of tasks based on project milestones, deliverables, and recommendations.
3. Actively participate and engage with all aspects of the internship program.
4. Perform duties as assigned by department leader.
5. Assist in other areas of department or other departments as required.

Education, Experience, and Knowledge
Required:
· Students should be working towards an Associate's or Bachelor's Degree in an Information Technology discipline
· GPA minimum of 3.0
