Job description
We are seeking an Entry Level Commercial Door Installer to join our team. As a leading provider of industrial door solutions, we pride ourselves on delivering top-notch service to our clients throughout the Southwest Region. This role involves inspecting, servicing, troubleshooting, installing, and maintaining industrial doors, loading dock equipment, and material handling systems. You will be the face of our company, providing excellent customer service and technical expertise. While some travel is required, we strive to keep our technicians close to home. We offer comprehensive training to equip you with the skills you need to succeed in this role.
Responsibilities
- Coordinate with Dispatch and serve as the primary point of contact for customers.
- Perform preventative maintenance on serviceable equipment.
- Troubleshoot and repair industrial equipment, mechanisms, and electrical circuits.
- Assist with larger jobs in coordination with the Field Service Manager.
- Complete detailed service reports at the end of each assignment.
- Maintain company-provided truck, phone, and safety gear.
- Adhere to all safety procedures and company policies.
Qualifications
- Experience with maintenance and/or repair of commercial doors, loading docks, dock levelers, and other related warehouse and industrial equipment is preferred.
- Experience in welding or steel fabrication is beneficial.
- Experience with electrical work is advantageous.
- Must have excellent customer service skills and strong communication abilities.
- Must maintain a professional demeanor at all times.
- Must have a valid A, B or C Driver’s License.
