Our CPA firm near Naperville, IL is looking for an Audit Senior to join our team. The Senior will have frequent interaction with client teams, partners, and staff in this highly visible role. This position has the potential for rapid advancement to Audit Manager or Audit Partner. We work with a wide range of clients, with a focus on non-profit organizations and private businesses. We provide a full range of accounting and tax services and are currently expanding our audit department. When necessary, local travel to clients will be required.- Coordinate the audit process from planning to completion of all required financial statements, related disclosures, and other client deliverables.
- Build client relationships and assure continued close personal attention to their needs.
- Work as team member to complete assigned audit area or task.
- Conduct risk assessment and perform test of transactions and account balances.
- Prepare workpapers to accurately document audit work and support conclusions.
- Manage and monitor time and accurate completion of projects.
- Prepare Form 990 and related tax forms for non-profit clients.
Key Skills:
- Bachelors degree in Accounting
- 3-5 years of Public Accounting experience
- Microsoft Excel & Word
- CaseWare & Lacerte a plus
- CPA certified or eligible for CPA exam
