Applications Engineer to join our team.
Position Summary:
Seeking a driven and motivated Applications Engineer to join our sales team, focusing on growing business with existing customers and developing new business. This position will involve applications engineering, sales support, and field service work. Sales Engineers should be comfortable working in a result driven, fast-paced environment.
Primary Job Responsibilities: - Work directly with sales, operations, vendors, lab and Customers.
- Work as project/ account manager.
- Provide job support including pre-and-post job internally and to customers.
- Preparing product pricing proposals, preparing documents and presentations of company products for the customer, acting as a liaison between R&D and other departments.
- Provide technical sales support.
- Daily tasks include inside account management, sales support, application engineering and outside sales.
- Responsibilities will vary and may include building and presenting customer presentations, proposals, financial analysis, lab testing, field support and technical product support.
- Promote Engineering best practices.
- Educate and promote Smart Chemical products to users in your market. This includes conference calls, meetings, and presentations.
- Research and develop new business opportunities with new and existing users.
- Top notch customer service and willingness to go above and beyond to serve the customer.
Required Skills:
- 4-year technical degree in a petroleum, chemical, mechanical, electrical, construction or physics-oriented curriculum.
- Excellent problem-solving skills
- Attention to detail.
- 2-5y years oilfield experience and hydraulic fracturing experience preferred.
- Excellent computer, organizational and communication/presentation skills.
- Travel is required.
- Advanced proficiency with Microsoft office suite, Adobe, Teams, PowerBi.
