Kelly Science and Clinical FSP is currently seeking a Business Analyst for a long-term engagement with one of our Global Pharmaceuticals clients. This position will be in the NJ/PA area and the candidate must be available to work from the Horsham, PA, Titusville, NJ or Piscataway, NJ site. This person will join our Kelly FSP (Functional Service Provider) division, a managed solution provider and business unit of Kelly Services, Inc. Business Analyst - To support our Digital Identification & Traceability (DI&T) EMS-Unique Device Identification (UDI) migration project and other Americas based UDI projects.
The Business Analyst will be a key role in the DI&T department within the Supply Chain organization, and report to the UDI Regional Deployment Manager. This role will support deployment activities for UDI driven systems, internal & external. And will also be responsible for executing the operational capability of UDI serving as a point of contact and having day-to-day operational leadership with Supply Chain partners, multiple business franchises and other functions in the organization to ensure execution of our capabilities.
Key Responsibilities
Define and assess business requirements for system-to-system connectivity (data modelling, data mapping)
Understand UDI requirements across all Americas regions, serve as an expert on data collection requirements, data submission requirements
Troubleshooting system operations with user community
Support UAT/SIT for system deployments
Support the regional operational base business activities for specific DI&T capabilities while maintaining effective communication with internal partners
Own specific tasks as part of larger projects to timely delivery and within budget while coordinating tasks across functions and geographies.
Lead the product delivery team & regional deployment teams through the planning, definition, pipeline management, oversight & acceptance of delivery of UDI related development
Manage effective communication with internal partners and customers across Medical Devices and Pharma business segments with regard to product releases
Assist our internal customers to stay in sync with requirements during regulation releases & new UDI product releases, with a focus upon new regulations as they are releases by individual Health Authorities
Drive requirements definition and compliance delivery to ensure key milestones are met in support of regional regulatory compliance & the Global UDI Data strategy
Support regional Analysts with deployment base business support as needed.
Qualifications:
A minimum of a bachelor’s degree
Business and IT experience; envisioning a more experienced resource (10 years) to provide support for our UDI program this year
Knowledge of IT systems and SDLC process
Experience with Data Analytics and Visualization software (Tableau, Excel, Power BI) is required
Ability to write SOPs using good documentation practices
Experience synthesizing large quantities of process and technical information and communicating cogent recommendations to multiple organizational levels
Ability to project manage
Ability to build and drive progression of business metrics
Understanding of Unique Device Identification is preferred
J&J experience is a major plus
Ability to learn the UDI data submission systems and processes at company
Knowledge of database systems (SAP, Cloudera Hadoop), database structures, relational databases, data modelling & data mapping between systems is preferred
Experience working with a Software as a Service (SaaS) vendor is preferred
