Summary

We are recruiting for a End User Computing Lead. This is a hands-on technical role that is responsible for supervising the team supporting End User Computing (EUC) Mobile Devices and other Endpoints, including but not limited to mobile phones, Tablets, Windows Based PC endpoints and telephony. This position will be responsible for Mobile Device Management software as well. In addition to ensuring technical stability and best in class service for above mentioned platforms, perform Team Leadership duties focused on developing team members, managing day to day support tasks (Ticket Escalations), and allocating project resources.

Travel possibly overnight, to any customer area, which could be any Perdue facility or to a remote site for disaster recovery, industry conferences, or training. 

Principal and Essential Duties & Responsibilities

Minimum Education and Requirements

REQUIRED: Four-year college degree, with studies in Information Systems or Computer Science, or 4-5 years of relevant experience. 

3 – 5 years of IT experience in similar or larger organization with the following skills/experience

 

PREFERRED:

Environmental Factors and Physical Requirements

  1. Ability to travel, possibly overnight, to any customer area, which could be any Perdue facility or to a remote site for disaster recovery, industry conferences, or training. 
  2. Ability to work in a climate-controlled office environment. 
  3. Ability to work in an open-partitioned cubicle environment or a poultry processing facility.
  4. Ability to communicate via telephone.
  5. Ability to come to the Main Office if off-hour support cannot be resolved over the telephone.
  6. Ability to operate a computer terminal and a workstation, using a keyboard, mouse and reading a monitor.
  7. Able to remain stationary up to 8 hours per day.

Ability to report on-site for 5 days a week for at least 8 hours per day, with additional hours as required
