Project Manager – Job Summary:
We’re supporting our client, a leading manufacturer of thermal separation process solutions based in Stoughton, MA who are looking for a Project Manager to join their growing team. The successful Project Manager will have experience of reading blueprints and have 5+ years of experience in a Project Engineer/Project Management role.
Salary: $90,000 – $130,000

Responsibilities:
Sales Forecast alignment with Manufacturing
- Understands and communicates where a new order fits into the Master Schedule
Project Engineering/Management:
- Reviews product orders and contracts to fully understand deadlines.
- Provides analysis and participates in make/buy decisions where appropriate.
- Organizes “kick off” meetings upon Sales receiving job order, keeps meeting notes, and assigns action items accordingly.
- Facilitates project by assuring the project has drawings, instructions, resources, materials, and tooling.
- Issues & controls drawings to QC, Machine & Fab Shops.
- Identifies problems in workflows, determines required solutions and improvements, and recommends necessary modifications in affected departments and teams.
- Analyzes prior time to complete operation and works with Mfg. Engineering to implement efficiency improvements.
- Establishes and tracks milestone dates (i.e., engineer drawings due date, material due dates), to meet customer commitment delivery date.
- Works with Engineering to drive uniformity of parts where appropriate.
- Assists with inspections and complicated machine set-ups.
- Coordinates subcontracting, i.e. machining, heat treatment, balancing, plating, electropolishing, grinding, rolling, etc.
- Participates in postmortem review.
- Assumes additional related responsibilities as assigned.
About You:
- Associate degree or equivalent in an engineering discipline – preferred but not required
- 5+ years of experience in a Project Manager/Project Engineer role.
- Able to read blueprints
- Proficient with MS Office suite
- Excellent communication skills
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
- Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Knowledge of Epicor/Vantage system a plus
