About this role:
Wells Fargo Cybersecurity has a new opportunity on the security logging governance team. We are seeking a Senior Information Security Engineer that has experience with onboarding security tools, infrastructure, web, and application logs to Splunk and cloud-based repositories. To be successful in this role the candidate should be very strong with SQL , Python, BI Tools to help redesign legacy system to compare data from critical systems of record within the firm, and automate the creation of ServiceNow incidents and control adherence actions across public, private, hybrid cloud and on-premise infrastructure and applications in support of Information Security Compliance Requirements.
In this role, you will:
+ Lead or participate in high level technical concepts spanning technology and business
+ Develop specifications for complex infrastructure systems, design and test solutions
+ Contribute to the testing of business, application and technical infrastructure requirements
+ Drive solutions to reduce recovery
+ Review and analyze solutions for cloud security, secrets management and key rotations
+ Design, code, test, debug and document programs using Agile development practices
+ Design complex system upgrades
+ Resolve troublesome trends as they develop
+ Develop a long range plan designed to resolve problems and prevent them from recurring
+ Direct the daily risk and control flow of operations, focusing on policies, procedures and work standards to ensure success
+ Collaborate and consult with peers, colleagues and managers to resolve issues and achieve goals
Required Qualifications, US:
+ 4+ years of Cybersecurity Infrastructure Engineering and Solutions experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education
+ 4+ years of Splunk – Search Processing Language ( SPL ) and KV store development experience
+ 4 years professional experience BI tools (Power BI, Tableau etc.)
+ 4 years professional experience security event logging
+ 4 years Azure experience
+ 4 years SQL experience
+ 3+ years professional GCP ( GCL + Chronicle) logging and monitoring experience
+ 3+ years professional experience Splunk Cloud
Desired Qualifications:
+ Splunk Core Power User
+ AZ-500 Azure Fundamentals
+ Splunk Query Language
+ Data and Design experience
+ Python
+ ServiceNow experience
+ Partial onsite work required weekly
+ Must be within commutable distance of posted job locations
