Description

Performs routine and complex Respiratory Therapy for Adult, Pediatric, and Neonatal patients. Work in all adult and pediatric/NICU critical care areas (provided opportunity for training occurs). Performs duties or projects assigned by the Director, Assistant Director, Clinical Specialist and/or Shift Supervisor. Under the supervision of the RT IV Neo/PEDS Transport Clinical Specialist, The RT III Clinical Supervisors and RT IV Assistant Director. The RT will assume responsibility and accountability in the provision of advanced and complex respiratory care for Adult, neonatal and pediatric patients during the inpatient care and transport process. After completing supervised clinical training, care for these patients will include the application and utilization of advanced practice skills. Educational opportunities will include the training of new employees; in-servicing staffs on new equipment and techniques, Customer service, communication and public relations are key aspects of this position. May be required to work in any area in the Health System. May require rotating shifts Day/Nights.

Salary range: $44.87-$59.20 HourlyQualifications
