Accounts Receivable Specialist responsibilities for clients include:

Performs accounts receivable operations and ensures integrity of financial information, as directed by the Accounting Manager or Controller.

Job Description

The Accounts Receivable Specialist is part of the Emerging Growth Outsourced team and may be working with multiple clients and accounting teams concurrently.

Responsibilities

• Process customer payments
• Conduct account reconciliations to ensure accuracy
• Investigate and resolve discrepancies
• Assist in collection efforts and communicate with customers regarding past due balances
• Generate monthly reports on accounts receivable status
• Assist with month-end and year-end close process
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure timely and accurate billing and payment processing
• Provide support during internal and external audits
• Ensure compliance with GAAP principles and adherence to accounting policies
• Protect organization's value by keeping information confidential

Requirements

Technical Skills:

• Associate Degree in Accounting or related field; Bachelor’s degree preferred
• Minimum 1-3 years of accounts receivable or related experience
• Proficient in MS Office Suite
• Experience with any accounting software (QuickBooks, NetSuite, etc.)

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work independently as well as in a team environment
• Demonstrated ability to meet deadlines and manage priorities effectively

Pay range: $30-$50/hr DOE
