Purpose:

The Lead, Strategic Marketing is responsible for helping develop the Strategic game plan for the selfcare business with clarity on chosen growth spaces, Key brand pillars, organization structure and lay out the operating model. The individual will lead ideating and conceptualizing the best-in-class Selfcare & nutrition solutions based on the consumer/patients' unmet need gaps’ assist with the design & execution of market research studies. This individual will focus on Patient life stage journey mapping and reframe a winning GTM strategy to win in the market alongside a differentiated product portfolio. The Lead, Strategic Marketing & Research will be an integral member of the Dr. Reddy’s OTC Branded leadership team tasked to build relevant and leading presence in OTC Selfcare industry. Based in Princeton, NJ (Hybrid work schedule), this position reports to the Head OTC Selfcare business.

Responsibilities
:

• 
Identifying the spaces/segments we need to play in to be able to have a winning OTC Selfcare business and influencing leaders in the organization to be able to create an actionable plan.
• Help develop the consumer & customer proposition to drive trial and repeat via identifying unmet needs, superiority vectors and segments that can be targeted.
• Help execute customized research to assess communication and engagement effectiveness through Attribute Analysis | Message Testing | AB Testing | Brand Recall | Rx Intent measures | Receptivity & Touchpoint Analysis | Media Tracking.
• Use benchmarks & launch tracking insights to ensure sufficiency of the plans created. Use the analysis to identify optimization areas and future growth opportunities.
• Work closely with the Marketing, R&D, Innovation, and technical teams to develop the innovation plan and pipeline for the next 5 years across the launches to ensure sustained growth for OTC Selfcare business.
• Guide development of forecasts and obtain approvals if necessary; guide evaluation of new channels and take decision on inclusion, and break-down the strategy into annual business plan for execution.
• Support the new product development / innovation process with key Dr. Reddy’s stakeholders and external partners.

Qualifications/Skills:

• Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications or Business. An MBA is preferred.
• Minimum of 10+ years of relevant experience in brand management or marketing for consumer brands, ideally DTC, Amazon or retailer marketplaces.
• Digitally savvy, results oriented and a self-starter. Strategic, critical thinker with strong ability to think both creatively and analytically. Strong business and financial acumen.
• Exceptional organizational, cross-functional collaboration and time management skills. One who can juggle multiple on-going priorities at the same time and quick to pivot as things change in real-time.
• Knowledge of SEO best practices including on and off-page, keyword research, tagging, schema, content, etc.
• Healthcare/Beauty, Agency, DTC and Ecommerce experience a plus.
• Highly proficient with MS Office applications (Excel, Powerpoint and Outlook) and business intelligence tools.
