Job description

As the Digital Web Producer, you will take ownership of building web pages by using modern tools and technologies to ensure a positive customer experience when using the Community Transit website. You will need a variety of knowledge and experience across design, content management, and presenting designs to cross-functional teams.

  1. Review and analyze webpages for areas that need to be improved, removed, or built. Creatively curate page layouts considering proper UX/UI design and incorporate SEO & best practices for accessibility.
  2. Drive project development by working cross-functionally with the marketing, development, IT, communication, and other teams to interpret their needs, offer technical expertise, and build deliverables.
  3. Create and manage website content within the CMS and utilize HTML, CSS, and JavaScript to enhance website functionality and design. Test pages for quality assurance before deployment. 
  4. Lead weekly planning meeting and participate in other internal meetings. Address any needs or concerns and present on team activities to keep stakeholders informed.
  5. Evaluate deliverables from other teams to ensure it meets industry standards, is properly structured, and is compatible with browsers and devices.
  6. Stay up to date on new front-end web development technologies, trends, and best practices and implement them to enhance the usability and efficiency of the website.
  7. Train new hires and create instructive documents and videos.

Minimum Qualifications

Working Conditions

90-100% of your work will be performed in an office environment and requires you to operate standard office equipment and keyboards. You will be required to move throughout and between different office buildings. You may also need to complete tasks in noisy environments.
