POSITION OVERVIEW: We are seeking a Senior Treasury Manager to manage the expansion of our Treasury function. This position will report to the Ascot Group Treasurer and be primarily focused on liquidity, cash flow management, and state deposit funding. The successful candidate will be an excellent communicator with the flexibility to grow with the organization and assist in developing processes.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES: - Assist in developing a full cash forecasting system and structures that maximize daily and monthly cash flow for the US Companies and minimize funding requirements.
- Recommend improvement to daily cash management activities and work closely with AR, AP, Payroll, Controllership, and accounting to ensure liquidity requirements are met
- Review of liquidity requirements on a daily, weekly and monthly basis
- Administration of bank accounts and accesses, including opening, closing, and monitoring of US bank accounts
- Managing day to day banking relationship contacts
- Managing periodic KYC banking requirements
- Review of intercompany billings and settlements
- Managing the corporate card program
- Initiating, validating, approving, and releasing corporate payments
- Managing the state deposit requirements and securities
- Support the implementation of a Treasury Management System
- Improve upon established US Treasury processes, procedures, and policies.
- Periodical review of US Treasury policies relating to cash management, approval limits, bank mandates, and risk management
- Management of bank counterparty risk and reporting
- Project lead for ad-hoc US Treasury projects
EXPERIENCE AND REQUIRED SKILLS - 7 years experience in managing the treasury function as well as experience of treasury accounting including FX, liquidity, cash flow and various financial instruments.
- Experience in Collateral and State deposit management and reporting
- Knowledge of the insurance industry required
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite applications (Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint)
- Experience with treasury management systems is a plus
- Experience in SUN general ledger is a plus
- Strong analytical skills
- Extensive technical knowledge of banking, preferably in Treasury
- Ability to build relationships across all business functions
- Demonstrated ability to work in a team, interact with others, meet deadlines, and successfully perform in a changing/fast paced environment work environment
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Strong time management and organizational skills
- Desire to work as part of a team in a collaborative environment
- Bachelor's Degree in Finance, Accounting or Business

Compensation Actual base pay could vary and may be above or below the listed range based on factors including but not limited to experience, subject matter expertise, and skills. The base pay is just one component of Ascot's total compensation package for employees. Other rewards may include an annual cash bonus, long-term incentives, and other forms of discretionary compensation awarded by the Company. The annualized base pay range for this role is: $175,000 to $190,000.
