Work Hours: Monday - Friday; 8:00 am - 5:00 pm

Position Summary: Responsible for accurate and timely financial reporting. This position will also be responsible for maintaining efficient internal controls, adherence to accounting policies and other company policies and procedures. Primarily responsible for the review, processing and posting of accounts payable transactions. Assist with payroll processing, posting of daily bank transactions, monthly and year-end financial statement reporting. Assist in monitoring overhead expenditures.

Required Qualifications:

• 1+ years of experience in accounting or administration
• Advanced working knowledge of QuickBooks Desktop
• Proficient in use of MS Excel, Word, and Outlook
• High attention to detail and accuracy in work
• Ability to communicate efficiently and effectively
• Well organized and ability to work independently
• Great problem solving skills and self motivated
• Ability to manage multiple projects while meeting strict deadlines
• Strong Interpersonal skills

Qualifications Desired:

• Associates Degree in Accounting
• Experience in HVAC or trades background preferred
