As a Staff Accountant at Bridges SI, you will play a crucial role in maintaining our financial records and ensuring accurate and timely financial reporting. In this role, you will collaborate with various departments and teams to ensure the accuracy of financial data, perform reconciliations, and assist with month-end close processes. You will also play a key part in analyzing financial information and providing insights to support business decision-making.

Responsibilities

• Maintaining financial reports, records and general ledger accounts
• Preparing journal entries, analysis and account reconciliations and assisting with monthly close processes
• Performing monthly balance sheet account reconciliations
• Reconcile payroll entries and record to G/L
• Reconcile monthly bank statements and credit card statements
• Assist with annual budget preparation and monthly budget to actual variance analysis
• Responding to information requests, reviewing financial statements and assisting with audits
• Assist with monthly commission calculations for the Sales Team
• Prepare billing for customers and email invoices to customers
• Post cash receipts and assist with collection efforts for past due invoices
• Ensuring compliance with GAAP including proper revenue recognition
• Assisting Director of Finance as needed and working to improve accounting processes

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance required
• 2+ years of experience as a Staff Accountant or relevant role in accounting
• Advanced use of Microsoft Office Excel
• Good problem solving and time management skills
• Highly organized and detail-oriented
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
• Confidentiality and integrity
• Knowledge of Q360 accounting platform is a plus, but not required
