Job description

Mastech Digital provides digital and mainstream technology staff as well as Digital Transformation Services for all American Corporations. We are currently seeking a Buyer for our client in the Pharmaceutical domain. We value our professionals, providing comprehensive benefits and the opportunity for growth. This is a Contract position, and the client is looking for someone to start immediately.

Duration: 4-6 Months Contract (Extension possible, conversion to perm)

Location: Danbury, CT

Salary: $30 to $34/Hourly

Role: Buyer

Primary Skills: Oracle Apps Technical

Role Description: The Buyer must have at least 5+ years of experience. 

Responsibilities:

- Determining material requirements between manufacturing sites using MRP system.

- Generating internal sales orders, moving orders between sites.

- Coordinating with Procurement, Stock room, and logistics department on transfer of material between sites.

- Creation and modifications of PO at the discretion of Senior level Buyers

- Provides support to Project Northeast teams as needed.

Requirements:

- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and material management systems

Education: Associate/Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Electrical/Electronic Engineering, Information Technology or another related field or Equivalent

Experience: Minimum 5 years of prior work experience needed

Relocation: This position will not cover relocation expenses

Travel: No

Local Preferred: Yes

Note: Must be able to work on a W2 basis (No C2C)
