Job description
Our hotel is seeking a detail-oriented and hospitable night audit host to oversee all front desk operations and accounting functions during overnight hours. This position serves as the main point of contact for guests, providing excellent customer service and resolving any issues that may arise.
Responsibilities: - Perform nightly audit procedures, including running reports, reconciling accounts, verifying revenue figures, processing credit cards, and preparing daily financial statements. - Act as front desk agent, checking in late arrivals, assigning rooms, answering phones, providing information about the hotel and local area. - Handle all guest requests, complaints, or concerns and find solutions. Follow up to ensure issues are resolved. - Maintain meticulous organization of front desk area and office. - Transmit daily reports and cash deposits to corporate accounting team each morning. - Communicate any suspicious activity or safety issues to hotel management. - Promote loyalty program enrollment and suggestively sell hotel services/amenities. Requirements: - Previous front desk experience in the hospitality industry required. - Proficiency with hotel property management systems and financial/accounting software. - Professional demeanor and excellent communication abilities. - Strong customer service orientation with ability to multitask. - Detail-oriented with organizational and problem-solving skills. - Dependability to work overnight shifts with minimal supervision. - High school diploma; additional hospitality training preferred.
