Position Summary:
We are searching for a dynamic and results-driven business development representative, preferably with manufacturing experience to join our growing team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in expanding our market presence by identifying, prospecting, and closing new business within the manufacturing sector.
Responsibilities:
- Identify and target manufacturing clients to generate new business opportunities.
- Develop and execute outreach strategies to engage potential customers and create interest in Vebu Labs, Inc.'s manufacturing capabilities.
- Demonstrate a deep understanding of our manufacturing products and services.
- Stay updated on industry trends, technological advancements, and competitor offerings.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with manufacturing clients through effective communication and regular visits.
- Understand client needs and provide tailored solutions to meet their requirements.
- Conduct compelling product presentations and demonstrations.
- Address client concerns and objections with effective communication and problem-solving skills.
- Collaborate with internal teams to create detailed proposals aligned with client needs.
- Maintain detailed records of sales activities, including client interactions, proposals, and contracts.
- Provide regular reports on sales performance, forecasts, and market trends.
- Proactively prospect and generate new leads through various channels such as cold calling, email campaigns, social media, and networking.
- Conduct ongoing market research to identify potential areas for business expansion.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Engineering, or related field.
- Experience in a start-up company is preferred.
- Manufacturing sales or a related field preferred.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team.
Compensation: $75,000 - $80,000 + commission
For cash compensation, we set standard ranges for all U.S. based roles based on function, level and geographic location, benchmarked against similar growth companies. In order to be compliant with local legislation, as well as to provide greater transparency to candidates, we share salary ranges on all job postings regardless of desired hiring locations. Final offer amounts are determined by multiple factors, including geographic location as well as candidate experience and expertise, and may vary from the amounts listed above.
