Under the direction of Manager of Radiology, the Diagnostic Imaging MRI Tech will perform radiographic procedures at a technical level not requiring constant supervision. The Radiology MRI Tech will have to calculate figures and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, technical procedures, governmental regulations, and procedure manuals
The Diagnostic Imaging MRI Tech will work under the guidance of the MRI Tech Manager. The Radiology MRI Tech will be responsible for keeping the procedure room and work area neat and clean while maintaining close communication with the department manager. The Diagnostic Imaging MRI Tech will perform a variety of technical procedures that requires independent judgment, ingenuity, and initiative.
The Radiology MRI Tech will comply with all medical center policies and procedures and maintains a professional appearance and demeanor. The ideal Diagnostic Imaging MRI Tech should have completed a formal Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI) program or equivalent training with Colorado State Technologist Certification. The Radiology MRI Tech will join a largest private, not-for-profit medical center that offers emergency, obstetric and medical/surgical services in the area.
