Job description

The Media Coordinator plays a key role in supporting the planning, execution, and optimization of media campaigns across various channels to bring key customer segments into our brand across the entirety of the media funnel. Including, but not limited to, radio, digital audio, sports sponsorships, OOH, CTV/OTT in assigned media markets. The Media Coordinator assists in managing media schedules, trafficking, auditing invoices, tracking campaign performance, and provides overall administrative support for the Senior Media Buyer and in-house media team.

The salary range for this role is $51,000-$66,000 annually.

Media Planning 

• Collaborate with internal teams, external partners, and media vendors to assist the Senior Media Buyer in developing and implementing a comprehensive media plan that is aligned with key business objectives.
• Develop and maintain media flow charts that align with brand messaging calendars and key seasonal tentpole moments. 
• Conduct market research on media trends and competitive landscape.

Media Buying

• Prepare and deliver advertising schedules and/or contracts to vendors, including monthly changes/additions/optimizations. 
• Maintain detailed knowledge of all markets and media.
• Build and maintain strong vendor relationships. 
• Develop recommended negotiation strategies, negotiation of rates, and added value to optimize overall media spend.

Media Maintenance & Auditing

• Send weekly traffic instructions to stations and digital audio vendors ensuring timely delivery of media assets.
• Manage and process monthly invoices and auditing to ensure accurate delivery of purchased media.
• Update media budget updates based on monthly discrepancies, and credits.
• Work with internal Marketing teams to coordinate launch of media campaigns including archiving and requesting new assets.

  Media Optimization

• Vet new vendors and media opportunities. 
• Use reporting tools to review data on effectiveness of campaigns.
• Monitor and analyze media campaigns, providing insights, and recommendations for optimization. 
• Collect and organize data to contribute to campaign hind sighting, creative briefs, and message planning.

• Bachelor’s degree in marketing, Business Administration, or related area. 
• 1 to 2 years of Media Buying software experience and i.e., Strata, TapWeb, or similar is beneficial.
• Microsoft Office, Google Business Apps and digital meeting platform (Zoom, Webex) experience required. 
• Excellent organization skills, attention to detail, and ability to prioritize.
• Demonstrated adaptability to changing priorities, industry trends, and evolving campaign requirements.
• Prove ability to work effectively in a team, collaborating with creative marketing and other departments.

The primary environment for this role is a combination of an open office and a remote workplace. Considerable business is conducted using the telephone and computer technology. This role is expected to be on-site in Home Office 1-2 days per week on an ongoing basis. Travel may be required to stores, conferences or events up to 5% of the time.

The salary range for this role is $51,000-$66,000 annually. The range describes the minimum to maximum likely rate for this job description in the state of Colorado. Individual pay will be determined based on skills and qualifications for the role. The salary range for this same position may be lower or higher in markets outside of Colorado.
