Identity and Access Management Architect

Job description
We are seeking an experienced Identity and Access Management Architect to design and implement secure and efficient identity and access management solutions for our oganization here at UWM. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of IAM principles and technologies, as well as experience working with large-scale enterprise systems.
- Develop and maintain IAM architecture, strategy, and roadmap to ensure consistent, reliable, and secure access to enterprise systems and data.
- Design and implement IAM solutions that meet business needs, while ensuring compliance with security and regulatory requirements.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and implement IAM best practices, standards, and policies.
- Provide technical leadership and guidance on IAM issues, including authentication, authorization, and access control.
- Perform IAM risk assessments and develop remediation plans to mitigate identified risks.
- Conduct research and keep up-to-date with emerging IAM technologies and trends, and provide recommendations for continuous improvement of IAM processes and systems.
- Develop and maintain relationships with stakeholders across the organization to ensure alignment of IAM solutions with business goals and objectives.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.
- 7+ years of experience in IAM architecture and design.
- Experience with IAM technologies such as Identity Governance and Administration (IGA), Single Sign-On (SSO), and Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA).
- Strong understanding of security and compliance regulations such as HIPAA, PCI-DSS, and GDPR.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to translate complex technical concepts into business requirements.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
- CISSP, CISM, or other relevant certifications preferred.
