Job description

Summary

The incumbent is responsible for developing, implementing and executing a global supply chain strategy and Sales Inventory and Operations Planning (SIOP) process for Hyperion, including inventory management. Leads the global planning team to effectively communicate plans and KPI’s to key stakeholders in Sales, the Business Lines and Operations to ensure alignment and fulfillment of customer commitments. The Supply Chain strategy and processes will include demand planning and forecasting, collaboration with manufacturing, capacity planning and management with key KPIs to include Inventory, fill rate and on-time delivery (including intercompany). The Global Supply Chain Director is critical in evolving SIOP processes globally in order to fulfill customer commitments at optimal inventory levels, as well as leading development and implementation of Supply Chain processes within Hyperion’s ERP system.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

Collaborates with Commercial, Finance, and Operations teams to build partnerships with global and local teams for effective Supply Chain performance and planning accuracy.

 

Leads all Sales, Inventory, and Operations Planning (SIOP) tasks including, but not limited to:

 

Establishes and implements procedures and systems for all SIOP Department activities.


Identifies and develops key supply chain users for M3 ERP systems.


Develops, manages and continually reviews the Global Supply Chain strategy. In collaboration with local Operations teams, implements and monitors execution of key improvement initiatives.


Serves as lead person on key operational decisions that have global implications such as Target Level Inventories; stock fill; ERP management.


Reports regularly on manufacturing, planning, and inventory performance.


Collaborates with IT and other resources to define & guide ERP utilization to create data linkages that will support Supply Chain Analytics and demand-based actions.


Collaborates with Site Leads and General Managers to develop site organizational structure to align and cascade SIOP roles and responsibilities. Collaborates with HR to establish an effective organizational structure and staff responsibilities. Trains and develops staff.

Leads and manages team in accordance with the organization’s policies.

Education and/or Work Experience

Four-year college degree or equivalent and 10 years of relevant work experience.
