Job description

Our client, a major oil and gas company, is looking for a  Production Administrator for their Slave Lake office. This is a full-time contract position working Monday to Friday, 8 hours per day; summer months is Monday-Thursday, 10 hours per day. 

Responsibilities include: 
• Gather, enter and review monthly production data
• Review volume variance reports
• Ensure new wells are added to FDC systems
• Update metering schematics
• Ensure flared and/or vented gas volumes are accurately reported to stakeholders
• Provide vacation coverage as required
• Maintain positive interpersonal relations with both office and field personnel

Qualifications: 
• Minimum 2+ years of oil and gas administration experience
• Post-Secondary education in Accounting and/or Business Administration preferred
• CAPPA Certificate would be considered an asset
• Ability to work effectively as part of a cross-functional team
• Strong communication and analytical abilities
• Intermediate Microsoft Excel skills
• Experience with PM Suite, Production Tracker, Protrend, Promonitor, PI, Scada
• Experience with Open Invoice & JD Edwards would be considered an asset
