Gulfstream Staffing has partnered with a Tri-State based Bariatric Organization that is experiencing a rapid growth phase. We are currently seeking candidates for a full-time Medical Assistant opportunity near Wayne, NJ. This organization has a leadership team of visionaries among the best in the business and a focus on a commitment to quality service to its patients.
Position : Medical Assistant
Duties: - Supports management and leadership
- Handle all administrative duties in a timely manner
- EMR (Electronic Medical Record) data entry
- Obtaining vital signs on each patient
- Assist physician with gathering patient history
- Ensures patients are prepared for their planned procedures including proper education, follow-up plans and post procedure instructions
Qualifications: - High school diploma or equivalent
- Medical Assistant Certification (CMA) preferred
- Previous experience in healthcare administration or other related fields
- Bilingual - Spanish preferred
