Job Summary:
As our new Facility Maintenance Manager, you will be responsible for coordinating and managing the operational activities, programs, functions, services, and budget
Supervisory Responsibilities:
- Manages subordinate staff in the day-to-day performance of their jobs.
- Manage and delegate sanitation and maintenance tasks to team members.
- Recruit and build high-performance teams of sanitation and maintenance professionals.
- Train supervisors and employees in best practices for maintenance work, service and safety standards, and local laws and regulations.
- Oversee vendors or contractors engaged in construction projects.
Duties/Responsibilities:
- Manage maintenance, construction, repair, and refurbishment operations of one or more facilities or properties.
- Implement policies and procedures that ensure the best functioning of buildings, grounds, and associated equipment.
- Monitor daily building operations and systems, including mechanical, electrical, plumbing, HVAC, safety, and waste management to ensure reliability.
- Track work orders for quality, adherence to service standards, and budgeted guidelines.
- Knowledge of first-level troubleshooting management for all equipment, including factory automation.
- Ensure project/department milestones/goals are met and adhere to approved budgets.
- Monitor safety and cleanliness of interior and exterior areas, such as the manufacturing floor, warehouse, offices, conference rooms, parking lots, and outdoor spaces.
- Prepare and adapt facilities for changing weather conditions.
- Collaborating with upper management on budgeting for facilities needs and special projects as needed.
Required Skills/Abilities:
- At least 21 years old per state law
- Basic understanding of building mechanical systems (electrical, HVAC, plumbing) and manufacturing automation equipment.
- Experience using Microsoft office and related programs.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and delegation skills
- Exceptional follow-up and problem-solving skills.
Education and Experience:
- 5+ years of Maintenance management experience
- HS Diploma or GED
