Atlas Tech, a veteran-owned IT company serving multiple DoD customers in support of America's warfighters, is looking for a Database Administrator to join our team.

The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing, maintaining, and optimizing our database systems, with a focus on Weblogic and Oracle. The role also involves proficiency in Dataverse, SQL, noSQL, and related programming languages. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring the reliability, performance, and security of our database infrastructure, including experience in migrating and transitioning data to the cloud.

Pay Range: $120,000 - $165,000

Travel Up To - 20%

You Will:

• Administer and maintain Weblogic and Oracle database systems.
• Develop and implement database policies and procedures.
• Monitor database performance and optimize for efficiency.
• Identify and resolve performance bottlenecks.
• Implement and enforce security measures to protect the integrity of the database.
• Manage user access and permissions.
• Implement and maintain database backup and recovery strategies.
• Conduct regular data backups and test recovery procedures.
• Lead the migration and transition of data to cloud-based database solutions.
• Ensure data integrity and security during the migration process.
• Collaborate with development and IT teams to integrate database solutions.
• Analyze existing databases so that documentation can be updated
• Provide technical support to application developers.

You Have:

• Must be a US Citizen
• Must possess and maintain a Department of Defense (DOD) Secret Level Security Clearance or higher.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
• Proven experience as a Database Administrator with expertise in Weblogic and Oracle 12c and higher.
• Experience developing and working with PL/SQL
• Proficiency in SQL and noSQL languages.
• Familiarity with related programming languages for database development.
• Strong understanding of Dataverse, SQL, noSQL, and relevant programming languages.
• Knowledge of database architecture, design, and best practices.
• Experience in migrating and transitioning data to cloud-based solutions.
• Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
• Weblogic and Oracle 12c and higher database administration.
• Proficiency in Dataverse, SQL, and noSQL languages.
• Cloud database migration and transition experience.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Effective communication and collaboration skills.
• Certification in database administration (e.g., Oracle Certified Professional).
• Familiarity with emerging database technologies.
• Experience with specific cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, Google Cloud).
