Job description
Business Development Resources (BDR) is the premier provider of business training and coaching services to HVAC contractors. Our goal is simple: empower our clients with our industry experience and information to give them the knowledge and skills they need to drive profit and growth in their business. We are currently looking for an Office Coordinator to join our team and embark on their career with BDR! If you are detail-oriented, a strong communicator, and proactive, then this might be a job for you!
Work Hours: 7:30 am - 4:30 pm, Monday through Friday; some overtime may be required
Pay Rate : $19.00 to $21.00/hr

Primary Job Function: Communicate effectively with all team members, distributors, manufacturers, vendors, and coaching clients. Complete general office administrative duties as described in the Essential Functions and Responsibilities. Ability to follow directions and complete assigned projects or tasks promptly. Follow BDR phone protocol by answering incoming phone lines.

Duties and Responsibilities:
- Answer and route all incoming calls, as well as train new staff as needed
- Greet and assist all visitors
- Update company phone schedule, extension list, and after-hours contact list
- Retrieve, date stamps, and distribute mail & packages for BDR and OI.
- Post announcements and update calendars on the company Intranet and Outlook as required
- Track, maintain, and order appropriate levels of office supplies as well as gift cards, flowers, lunches, etc.
- File paperwork as needed or requested by the accounting team and assist the Controller with projects as needed
- Assist staff and guests with reserving conference rooms for meetings
- Prepare marketing materials to be used in class books or for other projects as needed
- Coordinate the purchase and distribution of company shirts, manage inventory
- Coordinate facility-related items such as repairs and maintenance, pest control, elevator, HVAC system, building and carpet cleaning, landscaping, janitorial, etc.
- Clean kitchen and office areas and sanitize high touch points daily
- Conduct all shipping-related items that include but are not limited to; working with vendors, preparing shipments, maintaining contact database, assembling books needed for classes, etc.
- Prepare marketing materials to be used in class books or for other projects as needed
- Assist with BDR-sponsored events as needed
- Other duties as assigned by the Operations Manager
Required Qualifications:
- Some experience in a professional office setting
- Excellent Customer Service Skills
- Ability to lift up to 50lbs
