Job description
Summary:
We are looking for an experienced and motivated Lawn Care Worker to join our landscaping team. We provide comprehensive landscaping services to businesses and residences, including lawn and tree maintenance. As a Lawn Care Worker on our team, you operate mowers, leaf blowers, weed eaters, and other common tools to create and maintain carefully manicured outdoor spaces. We are especially interested in candidates with prior experience in landscape maintenance, ground maintenance, aerating, irrigation, and fertilization techniques
Job Functions:
- Operate mower, weed eater, edger, and blower with precision.
- Detailed oriented during mowing, edging, and clean up.
- Drive truck with trailer in tow.
- Help with the production of landscape construction.
- Physically able to do hard manual labor.
- Fence Install & Repair
- Locate, excavate, and repair or replace damaged or malfunctioning equipment
- Responsible for the purchasing of repair parts, keeping accurate inventory
- Keep work vehicle and equipment clean and organized
- Think critically to solve problems and complete repairs with minimal impact to lawn or landscape
- Effectively assess water efficiency and make adjustments to quickly correct over or under watering
- Be proactive with diagnosing and repairing any irrigation issues
- Complete daily paperwork as required by each job
- Perform accurate and timely record keeping
- Maintain a polite, friendly, responsive demeanor with customers
- Bring any issues/concerns to the attention of your Manager/Supervisor
- Must uphold company policies, procedures, and company core values at all times
- Other duties as assigned...
- Install irrigation timers, piping, and valves
- Troubleshoot and repair irrigation pipe and fittings, sprinklers heads
- Troubleshoot and repair electrical components and central irrigation control computers
- Perform general and seasonal system maintenance
- System start-ups, evaluation, and winterization. Test irrigation systems for proper functioning of valves and timers; Record detailed inspections
- Read diagrams and blueprints to layout and locate irrigation valves, timers, and wiring
- Reliable, motivated independent worker.
- Crew members strive for constant improvement in their trade.
Job Type: Full-time
Salary: $16.00 - $21.00 per hour
