Job description
This position is accountable with the Clinical DON for the overall management of activities in the Nursing Resource Center to ensure that quality, compassionate, culturally competent, effective and efficient patient care is delivered in compliance with the standards and regulations of the Montefiore Health System and Regulatory Agencies.
Assists in directing the daily activities of the Nursing Resource Center to ensure that the business goals and objectives are achieved. Will effectively organize, direct and evaluate the operations and activities of the evening and night shifts. Develops and implements policies and procedures, prepares and monitors the budget, and manages staff. May serve as the Director in his or her absence.
EDUCATION, TRAINING & EXPERIENCE:
NYS RN License required
BSN and MS in a Nursing or Health-related field required
Certification preferred
At least three years of Management experience required
At least seven years of Clinical work experience required
