Job Summary

The Analytical Technology department is part of the SABIC global Corporate Technology and Innovation (T&I) organization, with multiple global locations. The analytical technology organization in North America provides extensive analytical expertise in the area of advanced chromatography, spectroscopy, elemental analysis, and microscopy to support T&I programs across Strategic Business Units, delivering innovative solutions for the circular economy, in automotive, healthcare, building and construction, electronics and other markets.

 

We are currently looking for an enthusiastic, creative and highly skilled analytical professional with broad knowledge in instrumental analysis and proven expertise in chromatography. You will use your expertise to be part of this exciting adventure acting as a liaison between the Analytical Science team and SABIC R&D. As member of the Analytical Science team in STC-Houston and working together globally, your main objective is to implement and operate state-of-the-art chromatography equipment. Equipment in scope of this position includes gas chromatography, liquid chromatography, GPC and mass spectrometry. You may expect routine hands on analytical tests depending on the project needs. The role will also focus on developing analytical methods, executing, and coordinating separation tests within the analytical team, across multi-functional teams, and with external collaborators to provide effective analytical support to product development and process optimization.  This job is located in Sugar Land, TX, USA.
