Job description

We are currently looking to fill a Machine Operator position with a company in North Tulsa that specializes in the global energy industry & technology-driven solutions.

The machine operator will assist in the supervision and coordination of work activities of the shop floor workers.

Hours: 6:00a - 6:00a Monday - Thursday, 6:00a - 4:30p Fridays

Pay: $19.00

Job Duties and Responsibilities:

• Assists in communicating responsibilities and production requirements to the workers on the plant floor.
• Conducts weld checks on product during the process and makes adjustments or changes tools as necessary.
• Troubleshoot problems throughout the plant at all work centers.
• Monitor attendance and tardiness of all shop workers to ensure customers? requirements can be satisfied

Requirements:

• MUST HAVE EXPERIENCE IN WELDING AND FABRICATION
• (1) year of experience leading people in a heavy manufacturing shop environment.
• High School diploma or GED required.
• (1+) years of experience and/or training in welding and/or fabrication.
• Understanding of production and plant processes
• Ability to use precision measuring tools
• Analytical and numerical skills: ability to perform mathematical calculations (add, subtract, multiply, divide) in different units of measurement
• Ability to follow written and oral instructions
• Ability to work in a team
• Ability to lift heavy equipment, to bend, and to stand or walk for long periods of time
• Willingness to work in shifts (late or early hours, weekends, and overtime if necessary)
