Job description
Position Mission :
This position is responsible for supporting GPC’s Strategic and Transformational initiatives through mergers, acquisitions, distribution center, and division realignments. This position manages Integration Management Office personnel, partnering with field and Headquarters departments to ensure end-to-end integration of store systems across the enterprise.
This position requires a high level of business and systems experience along with strong leadership skills to define processes, procedures, and tools release plans that deliver automation of key Integration Management Office processes. Collaborates with multiple departments to ensure compliance with policy and data integrity across the GPC enterprise.
Position Performance Measures:
- 25% develops framework and/or tools for day-to-day implementation of Integration Management Office Projects.
- 50% manages personnel of the Integration Management Office.
- 25% implementation of new and evaluation of current processes and/or tools for continuous improvement.
Responsibilities: The following section contains the primary responsibilities for this position.
- Manages and evaluates the productivity of personnel associated with the Integration Management Office.
- Develops corrective action plans as necessary.
- Develops expert-level knowledge of cross-departmental process flows, operational and performance data across GPC enterprises.
- Utilizes project management and leadership skills to create out-of-the-box solutions and ensure timely completion of proposals, plans, and project implementation.
- Constantly evaluates day-to-day operations to identify areas for automation and increase productivity.
- Ensures project plans are compliant with GPC’s overall Business Transformation Strategy.
- Oversees the development, testing, and implementation of process and/or tool improvements.
- Oversees the development of clear, concise training materials.
- Ensures key performance indicators are identified and monitored to support predetermined productivity gains.
Experience, Education, and Abilities:
- Batchelor’s degree in business-related acumen
- 5+ years experience managerial experience
- 3+ years management project management experience, guiding cross-functional teams
- Strong understanding of store systems, their purpose, and how they function
- Experience with the development of process improvements and rollout
- Ability to think strategically and tactically for the development of comprehensive business solutions
- Superior critical thinking skills and analytic abilities to interpret complex data
- Demonstrated decisiveness and sound decision-making skills
- Demonstrated leadership / collaborative management style to engage cross-departmental professionals, as well as various levels of end users and executives
- Excellent communication and presentation skills are required to address a wide range of audiences, having varying levels of technical expertise
- Project Management or Microsoft Certifications preferred
- Must be able to work in an office environment with possible remote work opportunities
- Little travel is anticipated, but possible
