Job description
Overview: As a Marketing Strategist, you will be a key player in developing and executing comprehensive marketing strategies to drive brand awareness, customer acquisition, and revenue growth. This role requires a seasoned professional with a deep understanding of marketing principles, market trends, and the ability to lead a dynamic team. The Marketing Strategist will be responsible for shaping the overall marketing vision, managing cross-functional teams, and collaborating with key stakeholders to achieve organizational goals.
Responsibilities:
Strategic Planning:
- Develop and implement a comprehensive marketing strategy aligned with overall business objectives.
- Analyze market trends, competitor activities, and customer insights to identify growth opportunities.
Brand Management:
- Oversee the development and maintenance of a strong and consistent brand identity across all channels.
- Ensure brand messaging is cohesive and resonates with target audiences.
Campaign Management:
- Plan and execute multi-channel marketing campaigns, leveraging digital, traditional, and emerging channels.
- Monitor campaign performance and analyze data to optimize strategies for maximum effectiveness.
Market Research:
- Conduct market research to identify new opportunities, monitor industry trends, and stay ahead of the competition.
- Utilize data-driven insights to make informed decisions and drive marketing initiatives.
Cross-Functional Collaboration:
- Collaborate with sales, product development, and other departments to ensure marketing strategies align with overall business goals.
- Build strong relationships with key stakeholders and external partners.
Budget Management:
- Develop and manage the marketing budget, allocating resources effectively to achieve maximum ROI.
- Monitor expenses and ensure adherence to budgetary constraints.
Performance Metrics:
- Establish key performance indicators (KPIs) and regularly assess and report on the success of marketing initiatives.
- Use data analytics to measure and optimize marketing performance.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, or a related field; Master’s degree is a plus.
- Proven experience in a senior marketing role with a track record of successful campaigns.
- Strong leadership and team management skills.
- Excellent analytical, strategic thinking, and problem-solving abilities.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
- In-depth knowledge of digital marketing, social media, and traditional marketing channels.
- Proficient in marketing software and analytics tools.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
- Experience in the cannabis industry preferred.
