Exciting Opportunity: Join a Leading Manufacturing Company in Chemung County as the Director of Operations !
We're currently seeking a dynamic individual to fill the role of Director of Operations on a full-time, direct hire basis. This position offers competitive compensation with a salary range of $120,000 - $140,000 per year, including an end-of-year bonus.

Responsibilities: - Take charge of the overall financial performance of the operations team, focusing on key areas such as revenue recognition, cost management, working capital management, and cash flow objectives.
- Define and communicate the vision, mission, and operational objectives for the local operations team.
- Participate in strategic planning for the organization, particularly in relation to Production Operations, and drive the implementation of strategic goals and objectives.
- Ensure that production budgets, schedules, and performance standards are realistically set and achieved.
- Participate in the selection and approval of capital equipment expenditures within budgetary and corporate guidelines.
Requirements: - 8-10 years of relevant manufacturing experience.
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Engineering, Manufacturing, or a related discipline.
- Previous management level experience is a must.
- Lean Six Sigma Black Belt certification is highly desired.
- Experience working with a union is required.
- Demonstrated P&L (Profit and Loss) experience is essential.
