Our metal stamping client, located on the North Side of Holland, has openings! This company produces high volume, technically sophisticated custom metal components through deep draw process using a variety of metals. 

Your primary job responsibilities include and are not limited to:  

Die Setters are primarily responsible for performing job set ups and tear downs, maintenance and verification of production and spare tooling, implementing continuous improvement initiatives, and verification of product quality for the processes and products in their assigned area. Die Setters will typically be assigned to work on more than one press/product each shift and are required to balance the needs of each machine according to the needs of the area as defined by the Supervisor/BU Manager.  

$17-18/hr

 

Job Requirements

 

• Die Setters should have demonstrable proficiency with some toolroom equipment (lathes, mills, surface grinders, etc.), and are expected to be able to read and understand blueprints, and use all quality measurement tools and equipment (calipers, micrometers, profilometers, optical comparators, etc.) with proficiency.
  A skilled Die Setter should be able to offer suggestions for and/or contribute to troubleshooting and problem solving in a production environment. Die Setters should have a Continuous Improvement mindset with an ability to contribute meaningfully in making process, tooling, and equipment enhancements that will improve production efficiency and product quality.
