Our client, a nationally recognized organization in the hospitality industry based in Sandusky, Ohio is seeking a Senior Audit Consultant to join their team on a Contract-to-Hire basis. This will start as a long-term contract/consulting opportunity (6+ months) with the ultimate possibility of being hired permanently by our client. The work can be done mostly remotely, with periodic travel to Sandusky for onsite office work.

• This role will be heavily focused on SOX and helping build out a SOX COE.
• The client is looking for someone with recent Public Accounting experience and a comfort level being very hands-on with SOX.
• This person will also help develop training materials for, and remotely manage several college-age interns doing SOX testing at multiple remote locations.

Our consultants are hired as non-exempt W-2 employees and are paid on an hourly basis though our regular weekly payroll.



Job Title: Senior Auditor
Location: Sandusky, Ohio (Hybrid Schedule - Mostly Remote)
Pay Range: $65-75/hour

What’s Needed?

• Recent Public Accounting Experience .
• 5+ Years of experience with SOX Auditing .
• Hands-on experience conducting testing with internal controls and financial reporting.
• Managerial experience would be a plus.
• Experience with Highbond would be a plus.
