NATIVE FOODWAYS COORDINATOR

Permanent Part-time
Non-Exempt-Hourly
Compensation: $27.00 – $28.00 per hour

POSITION DESCRIPTION
Core to the implementation of The Cultural Conservancy’s (TCC) organizational mission is our Native Foodways Program. The Native Foodways Program is TCC’s flagship program and is an important part of our whole organization and identity. Working to support the food sovereignty of the Bay Area Native community region, as well as contribute to the larger Indigenous Food Sovereignty and Food Justice movements regionally, nationally, and globally, the Native Foodways Program is growing with our land project, Heron Shadow.

The Native Foodways Program Coordinator is a permanent part-time position that supports and coordinates the development and implementation of the vision and goals of the Foodways Program, in particular our regional food justice program. The Foodways Program Coordinator reports directly to the Chief Program Officer (CPO) and works in close collaboration with the Native Foodways Manager and Farm Manager.
