Job description
Contemporary Staffing Solutions is seeking a Collections Representative to join our client in West Chester, PA! Your primary responsibilities will include accepting inbound calls from patients, reviewing patient accounts, and assisting patients with payments/payment plans. This Contract-to-Hire opportunity offers $18/Hour!Responsibilities:
Answer approximately 30-50 inbound calls daily, addressing patient inquiries and concerns promptly and professionally.
Review patient accounts thoroughly and provide accurate information to ensure a high level of patient satisfaction.
Resolve outstanding account balances by processing real-time payments over the phone, adhering to company policies and procedures.
Document call notes accurately and in a timely manner on patients' accounts to establish a logical follow-up process and manage a queue of accounts requiring resolution of outstanding issues.
Utilize internal customer service computer systems, medical billing systems, and Microsoft Office products proficiently to facilitate account management and resolution.
Qualifications:
Previous experience in customer service is required.
Knowledge of health insurance terminology and billing processes is preferred.
Prior experience in a call center environment is preferred.
Experience in conflict resolution is highly desirable.
Strong negotiation skills to effectively handle payment arrangements and disputes.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills to interact with patients and internal stakeholders.
Deadline and detail-oriented, with the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently.
Must be flexible and adaptive to a high-volume call center environment, which requires long periods of stationary work.
