Job description
We're looking for a courteous, detail-oriented Maintenance Engineer to provide our guests with a five-star experience. You'll be in charge of overseeing the property’s overall upkeep and carrying out routine processes to make it fully functioning, pleasurable, and safe. HVAC experience preferred.
Responsibilities:
- Assist other technicians and engineers with a variety of maintenance tasks in a collaborative manner
- Complete all work orders and fix maintenance problems promptly
- Operate various tools like wrenches, hammers, screwdrivers, drills, and other maintenance equipment
- React to emergencies that happen before, during, and after your regular work shifts
- Tend to all of the hotel's equipment and conduct preventive maintenance routines
Qualifications:
- Must have strong organizational, communications, and interpersonal skills
- 2-4 years of maintenance experience is required for this role
- A high school diploma or equivalent GED is required
- The ability to lift and carry 50 lbs. or more is required
- Ability to use web-based software, including facilities maintenance software preferred
