Job description
Looking for a Civil Engineer - open to ALL LEVELS with at least 1 year of experience.
This is a smaller office with a lot of room for growth - our client has been awarded new projects and needs to add to their team to keep up with the work load.
This role is very independent and has opportunity to grow into a key leadership role. While allowing independence there is still Sr Engineers in office to help mentor.

Description:
The Site/Civil Engineer will be in our Syracuse, NY office, where they will perform design calculations and analysis in support of the successful completion of assigned projects for a wide range of public and private sector clients. Will assist Project Manager with the planning and design of assigned projects that meet technical requirements and are delivered on time and within budget.
This individual will ideally have knowledge of infrastructure, site development, site/road/highway storm water/sewer piping, load calculations. AutoCAD Civil 3D is 100% necessary - MicroStation is a bonus.

Additional Skills & Qualifications:
Work on design teams in all aspects of given project to develop detailed design documents for construction plans that meet client specs and exceed client expectations.
Perform quantity estimates, detailing and check calculations and drawings.
Conduct code research and write specifications.
Supports Project Manager on other tasks as assigned/needed.
BS in Civil Engineering
2-3 years of experience preferred -- understand site and roadway principals
Previous experience working in a consulting engineering environment a plus
AutoCAD Civil 3D
