Summary
Under the general direction of the Branch Manager the Service Team Manager is responsible for Service customer focus, including time and material growth and execution of the Service business. The Service Team Manager drives the profitability and productivity of the team and manages customer relationships by actively providing recommendations and solutions to customers. As needed, the Service Team Manager will work with other Branch Service Managers and other Service team members to review sales opportunities prior to delivery of the proposal. Additionally, it will ensure that work orders are done accurately, on time, billed, within budget, and within the scope of the work. The Service Team Manager will ensure that the work performed complies with state, local, and federal legal requirements and operates on the job with the highest of ethics.
Essential Duties
- Ensure that all duties of this position and those of team members reporting to this position are carried out in compliance with CES' stated mission, vision, safety standards, and company policies and procedures.
- Promotes safety through the engagement of monthly safety meetings utilizing toolbox training.
- Actively pursue and generate business opportunities and cultivate relationships with both existing and potential customers, while ensuring complete customer satisfaction.
- Responsible for maintaining a profitable P&L for assigned accounts
- Leads the execution efforts of assigned Service business. Ensures consistency of delivery systems through supervision and audits of Field Supervisors, Customer Service Coordinators, and Technicians in the delivery of quality service to customers.
- Participates in and encourages all technician training as required.
- Approves all T&M quotes and Service Agreements for accuracy and consistency.
- Supports best business practices for daily reconciliation, billing and customer value reporting, and all other service procedures.
- Maintain vendor relationships that enhance and protect the corporation's position, while working within both the company's policies and the current legal standards. This includes taking necessary precautions to avoid situations that could be construed as a conflict of interest or that could be deemed to be sufficient to unduly influence the employee's ability to make prudent decisions that are in the best interest of CES.
- Recruits, hires, and retains all direct reports. Works with direct reports to create effective development plans and tracks training performance; c onducts performance evaluations yearly for all direct reports.

Education and Experience
- Post-high school education from a college or five years of HVACR Management related experience; or an equivalent combination of education and experience
Licenses/Certifications
- A valid Florida Driver's License is required.
- Incumbent must be insurable at all times by CES insurance carrier.

- Exhibit an in-depth knowledge and understanding of HVAC and refrigeration systems.

- Excellent verbal and written communication skills; and strong conflict management skills.
- Detail-oriented and highly organized with the ability to handle multiple tasks and assignments.
- Good computer skills: knowledge of and proficiency in common office applications such as MS Word, Excel, Outlook, and general software navigation.
- Possess a strong personal desire for improvement; and the desire to motivate HVACR technicians.
- Ability and willingness to work non-standard schedule: nights, weekends, and holidays as/if required.
- Have the ability to work efficiently given time pressures, non-standard schedule, extreme weather conditions indicative of job site location, varying customer needs, and demands, and backlog constraints.
